State forces resume normal duty in Moreh

Imphal, June 26 2023: Though Moreh police, commando, Manipur Rifles and IRB were made to hole in at their respective posts for some time in View of the tense situation, they have now resumed normal duty and conducting regular patrolling in the border town.

The forces have also started to perform security duty at banks located in Moreh town.

It is reported that drug addicts used to loot vacant Meitei houses and set ablaze the structures, but such acts of crime had gone down subsequent to patrolling by Moreh police.

Moreover, BSF and Assam Rifles are also maintaining strict vigil to-safeguard the people.
