No untoward incident in last 24 hours

Police Control Room, Manipur police has informed that situation in state is tense but under control with almost no untoward incident reported during the last 24 hours.
A Control Room release informed that police and central forces are continuously conducting patrolling, flag marches and cordon and search operations in vulnerable areas both in the hill and valley districts.
During the last 24 hours, police and central forces conducted search operation in the vulnerable and fringe areas of Imphal West, Kakching, Kangpokpi and Churachandpur districts, it added.
About 110 Nakas/check-points are installed in different districts, both in the hill and the valley and police have detained 185 persons for violation of curfew in different districts, the release informed�adding that; movement of essential items has been ensured along NH-37.A total of 300 loaded vehicles left Jiribam for Imphal and 356 from Noney towards Imphal on Monday, it added.
Police Control Room also appealed to the public to extend all possible help in bringing normalcy in the state and to return and deposit arms, ammunition and explosives to the police or security forces immediately.
