Imphal, September 02 2010: the Meetei Council (mcm) has extended greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community in connection with the Ramzan month.

Let the fasting month and the ensuing Idd festival bring peace, progress and more understanding with love and communal harmony among the various communities living in Moreh, Publicity and Information Secretary of MCM, H Manglemba stated in a press release today.

He further informed that a get-together programme in which the newly elected office bearers, executive members and advisors of MCM to the government officials and NGOs operating Moreh, which the MCM wanted to organise very soon, would be postponed till the Ramzan month of the Muslim brethren living in Moreh is over.
