Long March reaches Lamsang

The Manipur Youth League's (MAYOL) Long March which was flagged off from Kangla yesterday reached Lamsang today.
The Long March is being carried out under the banner of 'peaceful co-existence, uniform development and restoration of peace in the State' .
The second day of the Long March was flagged off from Awang Sekmai.
As the marchers reached Khurkhul, they were accorded a warm reception there where a public meeting was also held.
Leihaothabam Saratchandra spoke at the meeting.
The marchers then halted at Akham where they were received by volunteers of Akham Youth Development Club.
A public meeting was held at Akham too where Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, Manipur University Reader Dr Thiyam Bharat and Sanaleibak daily Editor-in-Chief Hemantakumar Ningomba were the main speakers.
From Akham, the Long March made its way to Lamsang where the marchers stopped the day's march.
The Long March christened 'Eikhoigee Anouba Laangon Gi Paojel Puba Lamsaang Khongchat' will conclude at Canchipur on January 9 next year.
