CM urged to arrange re-settlement

Langsai Thouna Kakching has urged chief minister N Biren to drive out the Kuki refugees/militants who are waging war against the Meiteis and facilitate the displaced people taking shelter in relief camps to re-settle in their ancestral homes and live peacefully.
Addressing media persons in this regard at its Kakching Lamkhai office on Thursday, Langsai Thouna convenor Rajiv Kshetri said it representatives met the chef minister on Thursday and submitted a memorandum putting forward various demands such as flushing out Kuki refugees/ militants and help the displaced Meitei people to live in their native villages in peace, place in public domain when AR personnel will be pulled out from the state and their replacement; and clarify on what agenda large number of central forces have been deployed in the state.
He further stated that Langsai Thouna along with meira paibi groups will continue agitating until the Kuki refugees/ militants are driven out from Manipur and the displaced Meitei people return safely to their respective homes.
He also Said that it urged the chief minister to speed up the process of border fencing works and to deploy sufficient number of state forces in Moreh town.
