Shiv Sena's Tombi to petition President, PM

Shiv Sena Manipur president M Tombi has left Imphal for New Delhi on Monday to submit memoranda to Central leaders including President and Prime Minister to end the more than four months of violence in Manipur.
Addressing media persons before leaving for New Delhi at Shiv Sena Manipur office at Babupara, M Tombi said he will submit a five-point to memorandum to Central leaders and they will be urged to discuss Manipur issue in the special session of Parliament.
Restoring peace and normalcy in Manipur, SoO abrogation, flushing out illegal immigrants from Myanmar, implementation of NRC and formation of highway protection force are key points mentioned in the memorandum, he said adding that attack being carried out by Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorist on Manipur is akin to attacking the Indian Union.
M Tombi also said that he will apprise Union home minister Amit Shah about partisan role played by Assam Rifles in the ongoing violence as well as firing towards innocent civilians by the paramilitary force at Pallel if he gets the appointment already sought.
