Imphal, December 29 2023: A two-day workshop on robotics jointly organised by Wild Forest Institute of Skill Development (WFISD) and IMTECH Computer Centre commenced from Friday at the office of IMTECH.

In a statement, WFISD coordinator Konthoujam Anandabi informed that Manipur Technical University (MTU), department of computer science and engineering, assistant professor Hanjabam Saratchandra, IMTECH proprietor Mutum Chinglembi and WFISD proprietor Karam Ashinikanta attended the inaugural function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Around 100 students participated in the workshop.

Hanjabam Saratchandra spoke as resource person on 'Concept of Robotics, its application and scope in future'.

Practical sessions on projects using Arduino UNO and Servo Motors were conducted at the workshop.

Karam Ashinikanta spoke on the importance of having skills in computer science, robotics, loT, and artificial intelligence among other modern technologies among the students in this advanced society while Mutum Chinglembi educated the participants on the values of discipline and hard work.
