Meet resolves for resumption of economic activities

Imphal, June 12 2023: A meeting of all the clubs, organisations and associations of Kakching area was held at the con-ference hall of Kakching Municipal Council (KMC) on Sunday chaired by deputy commissioner Somorjit Salam and KMC caretaker chairperson N Sanjitkumar Singh.

The meeting discussed scarcity of essential commodities in Kakching area and resolved to appeal all the concerned for resumption of trans-action of business and all economic activities at the earliest.

It further appealed to shopkeepers/ businessmen to fix a reasonable price rate for the essential commodities and the same be circulated to all the concerned.

It was also decided that a survey of stranded persons in houses, other than in relief camps in Kakching area should be conducted by nodal officer concerned with the assistance of local clubs, organisations and asso-ciations of Kakching, it added.

A one minute's silence was ob-served in honour of the departed souls.
