ICAR advisory panel holds meeting

Imphal, March 13 2024: The 14th Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting 2024 of ICAR-KVK Tamenglong and ICAR-KVK Ukhrul was held in hybrid mode on Wednesday at Conference Hall, ICAR Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat, Imphal.

The meeting was chaired by Dr AK Mohanty, director ATARI Zone VII, while Dr Ramgopal Laha, head of Regional Centre, ICAR Manipur Centre, and IM Singh, principal scientist Seed Technology, presided over the meeting.

Staff members of ICAR Manipur's KVKs, namely Chandel, Churachandpur, Ukhrul and Imphal West districts, scientist from ICAR Manipur Centre, representatives from agriculture, horticulture and soil conservation, veterinary & animal husbandry department, and ATMA Tamenglong and Ukhrul districts, and progressive farmers from Tamenglong and Ukhrul villages attended the meeting.

During the meeting, a detailed programme on action plan for the year 2024 was discussed and finalised for the overall benefit of the farming community of Noney, Tamenglong, Ukhrul and Kamjong districts.
