The organisation has consistently warned against actions that disrupt the peaceful coexistence of the two temples in Khurai Telipati area for ages.
Despite con certed efforts, the organisation observed instances of dumping waste, construction, and unauthorised use of the area as a parking lot.

Complaints were lodged with local authorities, including the police, DC, and the MLA, yet no substantial action has been taken to address the issue, the statement said.

Meitei Leepun emphasised that such individuals should refrain from involving themselves in Manipur's internal affairs and criticised attempts to tarnish the organisation's image through false propaganda.
In response to what Meitei Leepun deemed provocative acts, the organisation clarified that punitive measures were initiated to deter residents from engaging in activities that disrupt peace and communal harmony.
