Imphal, December 26 2010: The proscribed RPF/PLA has refuted any connection between the outfit and Yaithengbam Inao alias Yaifaba (35) s/o Yaima of Khurai Thangjam Leikai who was arrested by Imphal East commandos on December 24 .

Further quoting the Imphal East SP's statement that Inao alias Yaifaba was working for PLA's frontal organisations, the outfit denied any relationship between the party and the frontal organisations cited by the Imphal East SP which included Imphal East United Club Organisation (IEUCO), Social United Club Organisation (SUCO), North Imphal United Club and Meira Paibi Organisation (NIUCACO), North East United Club Organisation (NEUCO), South East United Club Organisation (SEUCO) and the Poirei Apunba Leimarol Ima Meira Paibi.

A press release issued by the outfit's publicity assistant secretary GM Changjou rejected the SP's claim as baseless and fabricated that functionaries of these organisations received fund from the RPF/PLA on monthly basis.

The SP's statement was a conspiracy to project the social organisations working for the welfare of people in the wrong light.

It was a ploy to oppress volunteers of the social organisations.

It's time for social organisations and the public to fight back such alleged diabolic conspiracy of the State, the outfit added.
