Education Minister sends wishes

Education Minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh has extended his best wishes to all students set to appear in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2024 conducted by BOSEM which starts from March 15 .
In a statement, the Education Minister encouraged the students to stay focused and continue to work hard while adding that they have the full support of the Department of Education.
In addition, Th Basanta Kumar expressed his sincere appreciation to teachers for their tireless efforts and valuable contribution in preparing the students for this important milestone.
Extending best wishes to the 37,715 students who will be appearing the HSLC Exam across 154 centres in the State, the Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), has appealed for students and teachers to be exempted from the purview of the 48-hour bandh which will begin from midnight tonight.
Similarly, the Students' Union of Kangleipak (SUK) has also urged all individuals/organisations to desist from calling general strikes, public curfews, blockade etc which will inconvenience the HSLC Exam candidates during the exam period.
SUK has also urged teachers to use affirmative words that will encourage and uplift the students while advising students to be sincere and refrain from any misconduct during the examination.
Lastly, the Reformist Students' Front (RSF) and the Manipur State Council, All India Students' Federation (MSC/AISF) have joined in wishing good luck to the HSLC Exam 2024 candidates.
