Ruling MLAs in Delhi to decide on future action

As the violence continues in Manipur unabated since May 3, more ruling ministers/MLAs, who began flocking to Delhi on Tuesday, landed in the national capital on Wednesday.
A meeting of the ministers/MLAs is likely to be held on Thursday to decide on the further course of action, a source conveyed.
According to the source, 20 more MLAs flew to Delhi on Wednesday, with 17 leaving Imphal Airport via a morning flight and three including two ministers and Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba on a late afternoon flight.
At present, most of the ruling MLAs are in Delhi.
One of the MLAs conveyed to The People's Chronicle said that due to the different flights and arrivals of the ministers and MLAs, a meeting of the MLAs will be held on Thursday morning, wherein discussions will be held on what resolutions are to be put forward the central leaders and which central leaders are to be met with.
Mention may be made here that the Youth of Manipur (YoM) had met the CM ana the ruling MLAs at the CM's Bungalow on September 11 and put forth several demands related to the prevailing violence in the state.
Afterwards, 23 MLAs had signed an agreement to go to Delhi to seek a solution to the violence, uphold the integrity of Manipur and reject any form of separate administration in the state.
