Ayushman Bhavah Campaign aimed at saturation coverage of health schemes in mission mode was launched widely in the State.
The Ayushman Bhavah is a nationwide campaign launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare aiming to ensure the optimal delivery of health schemes to every beneficiary belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society across the Nation.
The campaign being implemented from September 17 till October 2, 2023 as a part of 'Seva Pakhwada' will witness a series of activities for enhancing healthcare access and awareness in the country.
The campaign mainly comprises three components Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0, Ayushman Mela and Ayushman Sabha.

Jiribam
The launching programme of the Ayushman Bhavah Campaign for Jiribam District was held today at the Conference Hall, Deputy Commissioner Office Jiribam.
Jiribam DC Krishna Kumar, IAS launched the campaign in the presence of S Indrajit Singh, SDO, Jiribam and Dr E Okendro Singh, CMO Jiribam.
L Roshan Meitei, DI, ZEO Jiribam; Dr N Soroja Devi, DNO, Child Health; Kh Chandrika Devi and Ch Umila Devi, Supervisors of ICDS Jiribam also attended the launching programme.
The officials and participants also took an 'Organ Donation Pledge' .
Kangpokpi
Deputy Commissioner Mahesh Chaudhari, IAS, today launched the Ayushman Bhavahh campaign under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India at the ADC's Conference Hall in Kangpokpi district.
The function was organised by the District Health Society, Kangpokpi.
The district level launch function of the campaign was also attended by Hemant Kumar, IAS, AC to DC; Dr Lamkhoneng Haokip, CMO; Dr Eunice Haokip, District Immunization Officer; Dr Kamkhosat Khongsai, DTO (Tuberculosis); Haojamang, District Coordinator PMJAY/CMHT; doctors and staff of CHC and ASHA workers among others.
Pherzawl
Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl, Lalramsang Infimate alongwith District Level Officer (DLOs) today attended the National and State level launching program of Ayushman Bhavah through virtual mode at CMO Camp Office, HSA Campus.
The DC also launched the health campaign for Pherzawl district organized by the District Health Society, National Health Mission, Pherzawl.
Speaking on the occasion, Lalramsang Infimate outlined the three components of Ayushman Bhavahn health campaign and the scheduled activities for its implementation in the district.
He said that 17 Common Service Centres in the district will be utilized to prepare Ayushman Cards for all remaining eligible beneficiaries enrolled under the PMJAY scheme.
He also said that plans are underway to ensure specialist doctors at CHC Parbung for the weekly Ayushman Mela.
The DC continued that Village Authority Leaders alongwith ASHA workers will organize health awareness meetings at village level as part of the Ayushman Sabha.
Stating that India ranks 132 out of 191 countries in the Health Development Index (HDI), the DC further opined that Ayushman Bhavahh campaign may help elevate the country's HDI.
Senapati
The Deputy Commissioner, Senapati Mamoni Doley, IAS launched the Ayushman Bhavahh today at DC Conference Hall after attending nationwide live programme of the launching of Ayushman Bhavah by the President of India Draupadi Murmu and across the State through video conference.
The programme was organised by the District Health Society, Senapati.
Addressing the gathering, Senapati, DC Mamoni Doley stated that the District administration and all persons concerned will be carrying out various tasks during this 15-day Seva Pakhwada.
She further said that this program comes under the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and includes the Localizing Sustainable Development Goals (LSDG) which requires 100 percent participation of the village, Gram panchayat.
She also mentioned that distribution of Ayushman Bharat Health Card otherwise called PMJAY e-card, weekly health melas, blood donation campaign, and cleanliness drives in all the District HQ areas, Sub-Divisional HQs and the villages will be carried out during the campaign.
This entire programme shall be carried out at the existing ABHWCs, PHCs, CHCs and Sub-Health centres, she added.
She appealed to the CMO, Superintendent of District Hospital, DPM, MOs, DPO ICDS, all the SDOs/BDOs of the district to work with dedication and give quality wealth services during the campaign period and beyond.
She also appealed to the village chairmen and secretary to inform their respective villagers about Ayushman Bhavah.
A pledge of Organ Donation was also administered as a part of the programme.
Thoubal
The launching programme of Ayushman Bhavah for Thoubal district was held at the hall of District Hospital Thoubal.
Thoubal DC Ahanthem Subhash launched the programme in the presence of CMO Thoubal Dr Y Nokul; District Family Welfare Officer Thoubal Dr Kh Trusty and District Hospital Thoubal Medical Superintendent, Dr W Ruhinikumar.
The launching programme was organised by the District Health Society, Thoubal.
