Imphal, December 26 2010: A combined team of Thoubal district police commandos and troops of 28 Assam Rifles arrested one UNLF cadre from Tangjeng yesterday.

The cadre has been identified as Chirom Jiten alias Chingthang Singh (32) s/o Jugeshwor Singh of Thongju Part-II Pheija Leitong.

In another incident, Thoubal district commandos arrested a PREPAK cadre namely, Ningthoujam Indrajit Singh (41) s/o Thenjao of Laphupat Tera Ningolkhong from Khoidumpat area on December 24 .

One 9 mm pistol with one magazine loaded with four live rounds was seized from his possession, said a press release issued by Additional SP (Ops) of Thoubal district.

In yet another incident, Thoubal district police commandos arrested two PREPAK cadres from Kakching Chumnang Leikai on December 23 .

They have been identified as Yumkhaibam Momocha Singh (27) s/o Boro of Laimanai Makha Leikai and Nameirakpam Bobi Singh (40) s/o Babudhon of Singjamei Chingamathak Hao Ground.
