Imphal, June 12 2023: Denouncing last night's gun attack by unknown miscreants at the residence of one Sarangthem Lenin in Tera Sapam Leirak, women folk of the area today staged a sit-in protest at Juvenile Club, Tera Sapam Leirak.

Speaking on the sidelines of the protest, Khuraijam Thasana, general secretary Chaokhat Thourang Nupi Lup, condemned the gun attack carried out last night by unknown miscreants in a residential area and urged all involved in the incident to step forward and issue a clarification at the earliest.

Pointing out that the unfortunate incident has created panic among the people, she urged all concerned to refrain from carrying out such acts in the future especially during these difficult times.
