Imphal, October 06 2023: The Annual Prize Distribution & Felicitation of Churachand Higher Secondary School Imphal for the year 2023 was held at the School's hall on Friday.

The programme was sponsored by the Ningsing Marup, CCIAN Forum, CC School Friends and CC Higher Secondary.

It was attended by Director of Education (Schools), L Nandakumar; CC Higher Secondary School, Principal, L Reeta Devi and Vice-Principal of the school, Kh Bikramchandra as presidium members.

During the programme, meritorious students of the school who secured good marks in examinations conducted by BOSEM and COHSEM were felicitated and educational items were provided to students of CC Higher Secondary School who have been displaced by the present conflict in Manipur.

The awards include the "Late Shri Laishram Gourachand and Smt Bokullei Memorial Award-2023" sponsored by L Reeta, "Ningshing Marup Award" sponsored by Ningshing Marup and "CCIAN Forum Golden Award" sponsored by CCIAN Forum.

To encourage the students, L Nandakumar presented bags to 24 displaced students of the school.

CC School Friends and CCIAN Forum also presented books and T-shirts to 24 displaced students. L Reeta extended her appreciation to the School's Alumni for motivating the students especially during these difficult times.

She advised the students to use their time wisely and work hard for their future. The Principal also urged the teachers to guide the students carefully and guide them toward a better future.
