During the meeting, the peace committee reaffirmed and reiterated all the previous resolutions taken earlier and requested all to honour them.

In view of the above unfortunate incidents, the committee underscored the need of making concerted efforts to fight against such evil forces and adopted key resolutions in this regard.
The resolutions which were adopted in today's meeting include the following - Free movement of all to be ensured in the area and there should be no stopping and checking by anyone except the security and police forces; No civilian bunkers should be built and any bunkers found will be destroyed and Carrying of unlicensed weapons will be handled as per law and display of unlicensed weapons and arms intended to cause apprehension in the public will be strictly prohibited.
Highlighting that safety for all citizens of Manipur is important along NH-37, it was resolved that every community should ensure safe passage of essential goods and supplies and drivers should not be intimidated moving along NH-37 .
Since security forces are working sincerely to maintain peace and security, there should be no hindrance towards their activity and movement and any incident which pose threat to public peace, should be reported to the peace committee, security force and police to avoid independent actions which may aggravate the security situation.
All CSOs and communities should refrain from issuing unnecessary press releases which may vitiate the environment and any matter should be taken up to the committee to initiate talk and resolution.
In case of any disturbing incidents, legal procedures will be strictly followed and FIRs will be lodged whenever required.
Furthermore, it was agreed that any abandoned house/ properties should be preserved by the locals and the majority communities of the area ensuring its safety and security.
