With the objective of providing expert advice to students who want to pursue career by going for higher education, Career Care has been opened at the Film Care, Yaikul Police Lane here.
The inaugural function of the Career Care was held at the Manipur Press Club at Major Khul in Imphal yesterday.
Director of HMR Academy, Bangalore, A Sukumar was the chief guest, Chairman of Institute of Cooperative Managment, Kh Borkishore was the president and president of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU), S Hemanta was the guest of honour at the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest of the function, A Sukumar said, it is important to know the psychology, educational background and economic status of a student while planning his career.
In the keynote address, O Prem said, "The centre like Career Care has come out to awaken the society from slumber and to do something which can be pioneering to the society of Manipur" .
He said, the Career Care promises that utmost care will be taken to make sure that the students will be offered the best guidance.
We have the contract with more than 30 institutes all over Bangalore city as well as from other states covering all the subjects, be it Medical or Engineering or Paramedical or Management" .
The ultimate objective of Career Care is to let Manipur welcome the world to its heart, said O.Prem.
