UMPCO visits relief camps, aid extended

Thoubal, August 18 2023: Meitei Pangal Clubs Organisation (UMPCO) on Friday visited relief camps set up at Anita Standard High School, Kwakta and at the residence of one Md Sabir Ahamed of Kwakta Khuman, both in Bishnupur district, and donated edibles, medicines and other relief materials to the inmates.

The Anita Standard High School relief camp currently houses a total of 213 inmates including women and children while there are 8S inmates at Md Sabir Ahamed's residence.

As part of the visit, UMPCO members led by its advisor Moulana Lliyas along with the inmates offered prayers for restoration of peace in the state.
