Tata Motors gifts Altroz to Tokyo Olympian P Sushila

Imphal, November 01 2021: Tata Motors on Monday gifted a brand-new Tata Altroz Gold Standard Premium hatchback to Pukrambam Sushila Chanu, who represented India in Hockey at the recent Tokyo Olympics.

Tiddim Motors dealer Philem Rajesh presented the car to Shushila during a simple function held at Tiddim Motors, Airport Road in the presence of Tata Motors (East-Ill) Territorial sale manager Moloy Bhattacharjee, Tiddim Motors general manager Harkirat Singh Jassal and staff.

Speaking at the event, Sushila Chanu appreciated the gesture, while expressing her regret on being able to win a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

Nonetheless, she expressed her gratitude to the people for supporting the Indian Women Hockey team and vowed to work harder for a better performance in the future and bring glory to the state.

Mention may be made here that Tata Motors had announced it would be presenting a car each to 24 sport persons who have shown exemplary performance at the Tokyo Olympics.
