Medical camp conducted, aid extended

Imphal, November 01 2021:
Sajik Tampak Battalion of IGAR (S) conducted a medical camp at Sajik Tampak in Chandel district on October 30 & 31 under "Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme" .
A total of 206 patients were examined by a team of doctor and trained para-medical staff for various ailments, informed a release issued by PRO IGAR (S), adding that the camp also provided free medicines to the villagers of Sajik Tampak and nearby villages.
On the other hand, Loktak Battalion on Monday conducted medical camp cum awareness drive on prevention of AIDS in Bishnupur district, said the PRO in another release.
Khuga Battalion also organised medical camp in H Khunou & Thinghat villages on Monday and provided assistance for the celebration of Chavang Kut festival while Churachandpur Battalion also provided assistance to the locals in Meithjang & Govajang villages in Churachandpur district, the PRO further said.
The locals & youth came forward in gracefully accepting the assistance provided by security forces in celebration of Chavang Kut festival, it added.
