Cycle rally held to observe Vigilance Week

Imphal, November 01 2021:
As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department in association with Manipur Adventure and Mountain Biking Association organised a cycle rally on Sunday.
The rally was flagged off by Vigilance and Anti-Corruption director Neilenthang Telien from Kangla Western gate, and later culminat-ed at the office of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption SP, Lamphelpat.
In all, 60 cyclists took part in the rally, which was also attended by Cycle City may-or and RIMS MS Dr Sanjib Nepram and Manipur Adventure and Mountain Biking Association president Dr Arunkumar Ngangom.
Later, at the closing function of the rally, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption SP So-rokhaibam Gautam led the gathering in taking a pledge against corruption.
The Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from October 26 till November 1.During the observance, various government departments have taken pledge against corruption, along with observance of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel on Sunday.
The officers and staff of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption department had already taken a pledge on protecting the integrity of the nation on October 26, along with conduct of poster campaigns at different places.
