PPCM kicks off inspection drive

Imphal, November 01 2021:
The Protection and Preservation Committee, Manipur (PPCM) carried out a drive to inspect if the weights used by shops are standard weights and if the prices are being kept at a reasonable rate.
The drive, which was also attended by a number of students, was carried out at Thangal bazar, Alu Gali, Old Assembly road, Tribal market, Dharmasala in Imphal and shops in Thoubal markets, said a statement issued by PPCM.
An awareness meeting about consumers was also held at Thoubal market.
The team also appealed the shops to observe COVID-19 SOP strictly.
PPCM informed that such drives will be conducted at various public places.
