'Mantra for Change' to set up 5 oxygenated beds in Moreh PHC

Mantra for Change, a Bangalore based non profit organization is ready to set up 5 oxygenated beds in Moreh PHC under Tengnoupal District.
Mantra's Head of Covid Operation Puneeth informed this to the media during a press conference held today at Manipur Press Club.
He said that the initiative has been taken up in view of both Covid-19 pandemic and general utilities for the public adding that the same NGO had already set up more than 100 oxygenated beds across rural areas spanning six States.
Saying that the initiative costs more than Rs 10,00,000 (ten lakhs), Puneeth went on to convey that Mantra for Change has been working very closely with various departments of Government supporting Covid relief activities.
"We have so far distributed around 10,000+ration kits, fed around 50,000 people and sent more than 3000 migrant workers back to their native places.
We have also supported nine Covid designated hospitals, 21 PHCs and ICMR Belgaum with critical medical consumables", he added.
Puneeth also claimed that their initiative is supported by Ashraya Hastha Trust, a philanthropic organization run by a co-founder of Infosys.
