Rushil, Bushan Haobam help India win Jr Davis Cup Asia-Oceania zonal title

Indian tennis team that included state lad Bushan Haobam emerged as the win ners of the Junior Davis Cup Asia-Oceania zonal qualifying event at RK Khanna Tennis Stadium, New Delhi, on Saturday.
The Indian boys beat Japan 2-1 to in the final of the Asia-Oceania zonal qualifying competition.
The Indian quarter of Sajid Lodi (team captain), Rushil Khosla, Debasis Sahoo and Bushan Haobam had already booked their ticket to the Junior Davis World Finals when they defeated Kazakhstan 2-1 in their semifinal encounter on Friday.
Rushil Khosla downed Japan's Yuta Tomida 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 in the final of the singles event while Bushan lost 3-6, 6-3, 2-6 to Naoya Honda in the other match on Saturday.
In the doubles' match, Bushan Haobam and Rushil Khosla combined to upstage the Japanese pair of Naoya Honda and Yuta Tomida 6-3, 6-4 to hand India a 2-1 margin victory for the Asia-Oceania zonal title.
Runners-up Japan and third-placed Australia also qualified for the World Finals.
In this Asia-Oceania zonal qualifying event, the top three teams from the regional competition advance to the World Finals.
