Budhimanjuri High School gets smart digital classroom

A digital smart class was inaugurated today at Budhimanjuri High School, Khamnam Leirak.
The digital smart class was installed by World Vision India one of the largest child focussed organisation in the country in collaboration with the Loukham Leirak Welfare Association (LLWA Club) as an initiative aim at empowering children, teachers, and communities through quality education and technology access, in alignment with government strategies for incorporating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education and training.
The function was attended by S Deven Singh, president LLWA Club as functional president, N Robendro Singh, local educationalist and general secretary LLWA as guest of honour & Asosii Loli, area programme manager � Imphal West as chief guest.

Loli in his speech said that World Vision India's aspiration for all girls and boys is that they are "educated for life" .
And this requires that children attain the core cognitive, emotional, social and essential life skills they need in order to reach their full potential to lead productive and fulfilling lives.
"Our experience has shown us that families, schools, communities and the public and private sectors must work together to help children develop these skills in and out of school, from early childhood through adolescence" .
He also expressed his appreciation to the club executives of LLWA and the Headmaster I/c for the active support and cooperation to realize the project.
He further said that only 2 schools were initially selected in the current FY '22 under Imphal West district to pilot this project and expects that these two schools set as a model and benchmark for further intervention.
Local educationalist N Robendro in his speech appreciated the various initiatives taken up by World Vision India for the betterment and up-liftmen of the people particularly for the wellbeing of children.
