Sagolband school gets digital smart class

Imphal, April 16 2022:
World Vision India in association with Loukharm Leirak Welfare Association (LLWA) set up a digital smart class at Budhimanjuri High School, Sagolband on Saturday.
The inaugural function of the digital smart class attended by Imphal West Area programme manager Asosii Loli as chief guest and LLWA president S Deven Singh as president while LLWA secretary and local educationist N Robendro Singh was present as guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Asosii Loli explained that the objective of World Vision India is to ensure all boys and girls are ed ucated for life in addition to facilitate coordination among families, schools, communities and the public and private sectors to help children develop the core cognitive, emotional, social and essential life skills they need in order to reach their full potential to lead productive and fulfilling lives.
He appreciated LLWA and the headmaster i/c of Bud himanjuri High School for the active support and cooperation towards realising the project; while informing that only 2 schools were initially selected for the current year under Imphal West district to pilot this project.
He then hoped that these two schools will serve as a model and benchmark for further intervention.
Local educationist Robendro, in his speech, appreciated the-various initiatives taken up by World Vision India for the betterment and uplift of the people, particularly, the wellbeing of children.
