Football ground inaugurated under army MCA

General K.K.Sinha, GOC 57 Mountain Division inaugurates a football playground named after his name as General K.K.Sinha Football Ground today at Turibari.
Turibari is situated 5 Km.
away from Kangpokpi along Imphal-Tamenglong (I-T)Road.
The village is dominated by Nepali community.
The General K.K.Football playground is develop under MCA.
Speaking on the occasion, General KK Sinha expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the local people for the cooperation in making the playground completely accessible in a stipulated time.
It is only because of the public particularly the local resident cooperation that today the ground can be inaugurated and sports loving person can play here.
The General further expressed his hope that the football ground will bear a good result and becomes the foundation in making a career in the field of sports particularly for the local youths.
He also assured that the request of local youth for extension of the playground will be done accordingly in the interest of the general public.
General KK Sinha also emphasis the significant of Peace and Harmony in making sound administration and urges all concerned to promote peace and harmony in the area.
He also asked the general public to cooperate with them in preventing those who could disrupt peace and harmony in the area.
A reception function of the General on his maiden visit to Kangpokpi was organized by Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, surrounding villages chiefs, KSO-SH, Sadar Hills Private Schools Association (SHIPS) along with Kangpokpi Town Committee, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organisation and Kangpokpi Youth Union at 43 Assam Rifles Kangpokpi Post after the inauguration of football playground at Turibari.
The civil bodies present Kuki traditional Shawl and basket to the general to their warm welcome on his maiden visit.
They also submitted their respective memorandum to the General.
The Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills and KSO-SH urges the General to conduct a mass recruitment rally at Kangpokpi particularly for area youths while SHIPS wish the General to set up one NCC Centre at Kangpokpi.
The Kangpokpi Youth Union pleads the General to construct an Indore Stadium consisting of 3-4 Badminton Court under Civic Action Programme.
The General assured to lend any help from his side to the civil bodies as per their memorandum.
