Aid given to fire victims

Imphal, January 09 2013:
The Lilong Bazar Shopkeepers' Welfare Association has extended monetary and material aid to owners/shopkeepers of 11 shops which were ravaged by an inferno on December 11 last year.
The fire broke out from a leaked LPG cylinder of a tea hotel in the morning of December 11 and it destroyed 11 shops and three dwelling houses.
The Lilong Bazar Shopkeepers' Welfare Association distributed the relief materials after collecting donations made by public.
The association distributed Rs 2500 and one bag of rich to each of the 11 victims.
