10th Manipur State League 2015 Narrow victories for NISA, MPSC

Imphal, October 17 2015 :
NISA, Thangmeiband and Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) registered narrow wins in the 10th Manipur State League 2015, sponsored by Khumukcham Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust, today at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.
In the first match, NISA, Thangmeiband claimed a thrilling 3-2 victory against FC Zalen, Sadar Hills.
The match began with an own goal from FC Zalen's Kh Jibon after he failed to clear a strike from NISA's Th Itomba in the 17th minute.

Minutes later, Kh Naton slotted in a goal through a pass from K Phalguni in the 39th minute to help NISA take a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half.
After the breather, Zalen players went on offensive and started to launch a series of attack.
David Ngaite's header through a corner kick from Seikhohao Tuboi pulled back a goal for the Zalen side in the 54th minute.
Minutes later, a penalty kick was awarded to the Zalen side inwhich striker Patrick Kamei converted in the 61th minute to level the scoreline 2-2 .
On other other hand, stressed NISA players fought hard to seal a winning goal till.
NISA's efforts paid off after L Sanatomba found the net through a defence splitting pass from L Gouro in the 75th minute making the final scoreline 3-2 over FC Zalen.
O Prameshwor was the lone player of the match who was booked with a yellow card.
In another match today, MPSC downed NACO, Nambul Mapal by a solitary goal.
After both sides failed to break the deadlock in the first half, a late strike from Th Kiran though a low cross from Khem Bahadur in the 76th minute helped MPSC clinch a narrow victory over NACO.
NACO's Kh Netaji Singh, and NISA's Khem Bahadur and O Somorendro were yellow carded during the match for unsporting behaviour.
Tomorrow, TRUGPU, Nambul will play with TRAU, Kwakeithel at 12.30 pm while YPHU, Lalambung and ZFC, Churachandpur will play the second match at 2.30 pm.
