The mortal remains of Rev Dr Rochunga Pudaite who breathed his last at a hospital in Colorado, US exactly a week ago will be brought here for burial at the PMS Bungalow even as the funeral committee said they are expecting the body in the last part of next week.
Known to his colleagues as 'Dr Ro,' Rochunga Pudaite has founded 'Bibles for the World' in 1971, and since then the NGO had distributed over 100 million copies of the Bible across the world.
With one of the country's most prominent Christian ministers breathing his last in a foreign soil, the EFCI, a Christian congregation he heads till his dying days has geared up to offer a befitting last rite at his home at Sielmat.
His grave is being readied and preparations to host the revered man's funeral are in full swing with the EFCI forming a special funeral committee to oversee the exercise.
The committee while announcing that they are expecting the mortal remains of the late leader sometime in the last part of next week, requested all intending individuals and organisations that are to pay their last respect to contact the information centre cum registration centre set up at the Sielmat Christian Hospital premises.
