2 more arrested with crystal meth

Imphal, December 08 2021:
Two persons have been arrested today along with 10.4 kilograms of contraband crystal methamphetamine from Tulihal International Airport Imphal while trying to board an Air India flight for Kolkata at around 2:30 pm.
According to reliable information, while screening passengers' registered baggage, the security of Tulihal International Airport came across the suspected items and immediately informed the team of NCB Imphal Airport.
The NCB team evaluated the suspected items as crystal methamphetamine and Airport Authority later handed over the two passengers to NCB.
The passengers have been identified as Md Zamir Khan (19) c/o Md Zakir Hussain of Moreh Premnagar Ward number 4 and a juvenile from Turel Wangma Leikai Moreh ward number 7, as per sources.
