DESAM Jiribam district committee has demanded upgradation of the existing hospital at Ningshing Khul to a full-fledged district hospital.

Highlighting different problems faced by patients in the hospital, Bilax Meetei said that the hospital faced huge electricity problem and patients complained of power outage for even three days continuously while condition 6f toilets of the hospital is awful.
CSOs and student organisations based in Jiribam have repeatedly urged authority concerned to fill lacunae of the hospital but there has been no positive action or indication of initiating any step in this regard, he said and urged government to look into the hospital seriously and upgrade it to a district hospital.
