AMSU conducts drive

During the unnatural price hike drive undertaken by AMSU, it was discovered that the vendors has been selling the revenue stamp and non-judicial stamp and other products twice its original price.
According to the statement of Kangabam Dhanajit, Information and Publicity Secy, AMSU, one rupee revenue stamp cost 10 rupees while the fifty rupees non-judicial stamp cost hundred rupees.
Expressing dissatisfaction on the State Government for failing to curb such fraudulent acts by the illegal vendors, the statement urged the concerned department not to remain as a silent spectator.
AMSU will continue the drive against the price hike if the concerned department fails to look into the matter and the State Government should be held responsible in case any unwanted activities occur, the statement added.
