Imphal, September 16 2022: Phundrei Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a pre-recruitment training in order to motivate youth to join Armed Forces as an Agniveer under Agnipath scheme.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the pre-recruitment training was organised in three phases.

The youth were also briefed about the enrolment procedure, document verification and physical test as per notification published for joining as an Agniveer.

Village chief, secretary and other villagers expressed their gratitude for organising the training, the PRO said, adding that a total of 40 male and 8 female candidates participated in the training.
