Nambul, Nambol rivers flowing at danger level

Imphal, September 03 2015:
Nambul river and Nambol river are now flowing at danger level after incessant rains lashed the State in the last few days.
A report from the Irrigation and Flood Control Department (IFCD) said that the Nambul river water has been flowing at 782.575 m above the sea level while Nambol river at 772.800 m above the sea level on Thursday evening.
The water flows of Imphal river, Thoubal river and Iril river are below the warning level, but the level of Iril river is increasing, said the report while adding that another artificial flood is expected if rain continues to lash the State.
