Kuki INPI USA submits memo to US President, Indian PM

Kuki Inpi USA has submitted a memorandum to the President of United States of America Barak Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the Churachandpur violent incident occurred on August 31 .
The memorandum said, "We the minority indigenous tribal Christians of Manipur state, India have been facing a lot of unbearable discrimination for the past decades from bias led Government in Manipur" .
For the past many decades the minority Christians in Manipur have been just silent victims in all aspects of life under this unjust and corrupted leadership, said the memorandum while adding that recently the Manipur State Assembly which is non tribal majority leadership' forcibly approved the three Bills without the consent of minority Christians in Manipur, which erupted anger and violence among communities in the State.
"Many houses were gutted into ashes, many people were killed by the State security forces and hundreds were injured", added the memorandum.
'We the Kuki Inpi, United States of America would like to draw your kind special attention to the said issues faced by the indigenous tribals of Manipur, India.
"Your timely intervention and support to impose Presidents Rule in the State may help safeguard the indigenous tribals of Manipur" added the memorandum.
