Imphal, June 15 2015 :
Manipur Drivers Welfare Association has greeted Deputy CM Gaikhangam for reducing check posts in Imphal Dimapur road.
Secretary, Manipur Drivers Welfare Association in a press note has also asked Gaikhangam to do the same thing in Imphal Jiri road as promised earlier and to repair the said Highway before rainy season.
Places like Makru in Jiri road will be very much dangerous if rain comes and Govt.should look into it sooner as it is one of the main lifelines of the State.
It further appealed the truck owner of AS01DD-6603 who met an accident on May 31 at Jarnapani which is about 25 km to be reached Dimapur, not to keep quite and bring a conclusion on the matter.
Otherwise people of the area could ban vehicles from Manipur, it further warned.
