Imphal, June 15 2015 :
Paraolong village still looks deserted and only domestic animals are found in the village after June 4 ambush on the 6 Dogra Reiment by the combined team of NSCN (K), KYKL and KCP.
Speaking to the media persons at their office Indian Red Cross Society Manipur Unit Secretary Y Mohen said that five members team of Indian Red Cross Society Manipur Unit and Disaster Relief Committee visited the ambush site and the surrounding villages on June 13 to help the problem and grievances of the villagers.
The team did find a single human being at Paraolong village.
The team suspected that the villagers may be fled from their village after attack on the army and still fear to return on their native villages due to ongoing army operation against the insurgency active in the border area.
Still no human found in the village but only four dogs, cats, hens and cocks were seen in their village, Mohen said.
They were unhappy on seeing the starving domestic animals and fed with some beans and chana to the dogs.
He appealed and informed the People for Animals to care such domestic animals.
