Imphal, June 15 2015 : Yourabung High School, Manipur Public School, St Anthony School, Keibi High School and Irilbung High School advanced into the pre-quarter finals of the U-14 boys while Keibi HS, Maria Montessori HSS, Young Star Dynamic Group, Emmanuel English School and DSAC Academy marched into the last eight round of the U-17 boys' Imphal East District Level School Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament, today at Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

In the first match of U-14 boys', Yourabung HS blanked Free Progress by a margin of 4 goals to nil.

Th Somorendro struck a treble (4th, 55th, 56th) while Daniel scored in the 43rd minute for the winning team.

In another match, Manipur Public School registered an easy 7-3 win against Eastern Ideal High School.

The winning goals of Manipur Public School were scored by Hitler (16th, 40th, 50th), Henba (30th, 42nd), Maileson (43rd) and Akram (48th) .

On the other hand, Easterm Ideal HS witnessed their goals from Deepu (9th, 11th) and Deepak (43rd) .

In the third match of the day, St Anthony School edged past YDES, Angtha 1-0 .

The most important goal of St Anthony School was scored by Md Huzefa Hussain in the 13th minute.

Keibi High School downed Covenant English School by a margin of 7 goals to five via penalty in another match today.

The match began with S Rohel and Y Ajit striking a goal each in the 32nd and 48th minute to help Keibi High School take an easy 2-0 lead.

However, Covenant English School bounced back after Paominlun and Lenginlun struck home in the 49th and 54th minute to level the score line 2-2 at the end of normal time.

In the penalty shootout, Convenant High School wtinessed 3 goals from Lenginlun, Thangreinung and Khupgoumang.

On the other hand, Nongdamba, Rohel, Y Ajit, Md Jatin and Ng Rakesh found the targets to give 5 goals for Keibi HS.

In the last match of U-14 boys' event, a brace from N Laurence in the 17th and 51st minute and a strike from RK Gustafer in the 32nd minute helped Irilbung High School claim a convincing 3-0 victory against a hapless Brighter Academy.

In the U-17 boy's group, Keibi HS was given a walkover after Yourabung HS did not show up.

In another match, Maria Montessori HSS blanked Manipur Public School by a margin of 3 goals to nil.

Ronaldo (55th, 60th) and Gillbert (37th) were the scorers of the winning team.

In the third match, Young Star Dynamic School humiliated Lodestar Public School by margin of 9 goals to nil.

Y Malemnganba struck home 4 four goals in the 14th, 21st, 43rd and 58th minute followed by a treble from Ng Gemson in the 7th, 32nd and 60th minute and a strike each from L Santa and Jamesbond in the 11th and 50th minute.

In another match, a double from Ph Shitaljit in the 56th and 60th minute helped Emmanuel English School claim a comfortable 2-0 win against CC HSS.

Sawombung HS lost 0-2 against DSAC Academy after Ronaldo slammed home two goals in the 14th and 44th minute, in the last match of the U-17 boy's group.
