Lamka, January 15 2014 :
Barely a week after the appalling case of a minor girl's rape and murder shocked the district, another case of rape that too a minor has again haunted the district send-ing many parents in a frenzy, seeking security and a better atmosphere for their children.
A four-year-old girl was reportedly exploited sexually by a juvenile boy yesterday at Tuima village along the Guite Road.
Sources said, the minor girl accompanied her family to the village to attend the wedding of a relative since the second week of January.
The girl along with some of her friends followed a man who went to the forest to col-lect woods and the incident, it is learnt, occurred there.
Sources said she narrated her ordeal to her parents later in day only after she had difficulty in urinating and saw blood stains on her private part.
'She was afraid she will be scolded by her parents and kept on begging her mother not to do so before narrating her ordeal,' said a source.
The boy and some of his siblings have reportedly threatened the girl who was originally from the town with snakes to make her gave-in and of consequences if she reveals their acts to her parents.
Police have now taken up the case and made the girl undergo a medical check-up today.
Still reluctant to comment, the police said they will soon be visiting the village and will be in a position to make their accounts only after that.
Nevertheless they claim that Doctors examining the girls have seen signs of penetration in her private.
