Three employees suspended for subletting quarters

Imphal, May 12 2022: After one IRB man was suspended for subletting the government quarter allotted to him, a Physical Education Teacher (PET) of Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) too has been suspended for the same offence.

Issuing an order in this regard, director (YAS) T Phulen Meitei said that PET T Subol Singh has been suspended for subletting the government quarter allocated to him to one Yengkhom Sushil Singh thereby violating Rule No 15(A) of CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965 .

The order also said that the suspension was based on findings of the departmental proceeding contemplated against T Subol Singh for his grave misconduct.

Meanwhile, a grade-IV employee of Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) and a primary teacher of education (S) department have been suspended for subletting government quarters allocated to them.

The suspended JNIMS employee has been identified as P Thanga Guite and the primary teacher as H Baljit Singh of Zone-I Imphal.
