Thanksgiving prayer service for donated vehicle held

A thanksgiving prayer service for the new vehicle Mahindra Bolero donated by Chandel MLA SS Olish Lamkang was held at the Liwa Changning village public playground on Thursday.
Sirti Sanuw Ruh (SSR) also known as Monsang Women's Union organised the event, which was participated by Liwa Changning Baptist Church pastor Ts Morison as blessing minister.
Speaking oh the occasion, SSR president Ts Dinpham expressed gratitude to SS Olish for her contribution towards the people of the area.
SSR speaker Sanuw Premory Ngoruh said that only woman can understand the problem of a woman and stated that SS Olish is a blessing for all women.
MLA SS Olish said that she donated the Bolero sensing the need of the people.
She acknowledged many difficulties and challenges faced by leaders working in CSOs and encouraged CSO leaders cutting across gender to excel for greater achievements for the good of the society.
She also said that the society can achieve great things with love and cooperation and urged all to have a positive outlook and learn to encourage talented and hard-working youth to create more positive energy in the society.
It may be mentioned that MLA SS Olish assured of donating one Bolero SUV each to women unions of five tribes namely Chothe, Lamkang, Monsang, Moyon and Tarao as Mother's Day gift during her post-election felicitation programme held at Monsang Pantha village on March 8.The same was given to the five unions on the occasion of Mother's Day 2022 celebration held at Ralringkhu village under the aegis of Ambilish Trust.
The thanksgiving occasion was marked by presentation of folk songs and dances from Japhou Women Fellowship, Monsang Pantha Women Society, Liwa Changning Women Fellowship and Liwa Khullen Women Society.
