35 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in CCpur

Churachandpur, May 15 2021:
Churachandpur district reported 35 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases in the district to 291 .
A total of 48 persons (28 male and 20 female) have recovered.
The latest victims, one male aged 61 and another aged 49 succumbed to COVID-19 at Bishnupur District Hospital.
Meanwhile, one person also reportedly died at Singngat taking the cumulative COVID-19 death in the district to 60 .
Out of the 35 persons confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases, 12 were male and 23 were female.
Besides, among the 222 persons tested in the Rapid Antigen Test at District Hospital and other testing sites, 28 persons were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases while 7 tested positive for COVID-19 through RT PCR test.
The total number of positive cases in the district as of May 15 is 2735 which includes 1805 male and 930 female, while 2384 have recovered.
As per the information provided by the District Health and District Hospital authorities, out of the 20 beds at the dedicated COVID-19 centre, District Hospital, Churachandpur, 19 beds are engaged/occupied as of today.
Besides, 54 D Type Cylinders are available as of date at the District Hospital, out of which 39 cylinders are in stock while 11 cylinders are currently in use.
The District Hospital also has 36 B Type Oxygen cylinders, out of which 3 are full and 16 cylinders are currently in use.
The remaining cylinders have been sent for refilling.
