AR organises yoga sessions

Phundrei Battalion of IGAR (S) organised a yoga session at Mission Blind School for visually impaired children ahead of the celebration of 8 th International Yoga Day.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that Mission Blind School is a boarding school for visually impaired children and is completely dependent on voluntary donations and faces shortage of basic amenities.
The Assam Rifles, on the occasion of 8th International Day of Yoga, took up the social welfare step by organising yoga for the children with the hope that these small initiatives will bring positivity in the minds and happiness in the hearts of the children.
A total of 40 children and school staff attended the event.
Meanwhile, Kangvai Battalion of IGAR (S) conducted a yoga session to commemorate upcoming 8th International Day of Yoga, 2022 at Kangvai in Bishnupur district on Monday.
The event was organised to spread awareness and benefits of yoga among the troops and families with emphasis on flexibility, strength and endurance being achieved through yoga.
