Kangpokpi, April 08 2022:
Kuki National Front (Nehlun), a non-SoO Kuki militant outfit, on Friday dismissed the Assam Rifles' claim of apprehending a wanted KNF-N cadre involved in the B Gamnom killing on October 26, 2021 .
Assam Rifles had claimed that AR troops of IGAR (E) apprehended a wanted KNF-N cadre involved in the B Gamnom killing on March 26 from a mechanical workshop near Kholep village in Kangpokpi district.
KNF-N information and publicity secretary Gou Kuki said that the captive Satkithang alias Ranjit had been dismissed from the outfit in 2018 owing to misconduct and physical condition.
He continued that branding Satkithang alias Ranjit as a wanted militant involved in the B Gamnom killing by security forces was baseless and false as he has nothing to do with the outfit after his defection in 2018.KNF-N appealed to government machinery, especially the security forces, to stop harassing such an individual who is already leading a normal life.
