Former Minister highlights developmental activities at Govindagram village

Former Minister Oinam Lukhoi has stated that he will continue to serve the people of Wangoi AC earnestly though he was defeated in the recently held State Assembly election.
He made the above statement while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a community hall at Govindagram Awang Leikai in Wangoi AC today.
Stating that the political journey is filled with ups and downs, he assured that he will continue to serve the people of Wangoi AC selflessly though he is no longer elected as an MLA.
He further said that five community halls have been constructed in Govindagram during the last 10 years and another community hall will also be inaugurated on April 16 .
Emphasizing on the developmental activities taken up in Govindagram village, the former Minister said that all the roads are black topped and a bridge had been constructed over the Merakhong stretch.
And a water supply scheme in the village is on the verge of completion and will be inaugurated soon, he added.
He further appealed to the new MLA of Wangoi AC to look into the welfare and developmental activities taken up during his tenure to ensure that the people of Wangoi avail the benefits of such schemes.
Also he expressed firm belief that the new elected MLA will take up more developmental activities for a developed Wangoi Assembly Constituency.
