Free medical camp held at Purum school

Kakching, March 26 2023:
A one-day free medical camp was organised jointly by the Project Monitoring Unit (PMU), Tengnoupal of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and Jivan Hospital, Kakching at Purum Tampak Government High School, Chandel on Sunday.
The free medical camp conducted under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity for Financial Year 2022-2023 of NHIDCL was attended by 6 doctors of Jivan hospital and catered to need of around 250 people.
ASHA and Anganwadi workers also extended support during the medical camp where free medicines were also provided to patients.
Along with providing sanitary pads to girl students of the High School, a water filter was also handed over to the school authority.
The inaugural function of the camp was attended by NHIDCL executive director DS Chaudharv.
SDC (Chandel) Mothal Saka, Jivan Hospital managing director Dr Yengkhom Ashok Kumar, NHIDCL project monitoring unit Tengnoupal deputy general manager (P) Prabal Das, School headmaster Naorem Robi and Purum Tampak village chief Y Awairengpa as presidium members.
