Lamlai Lup resolves to support Kangleipal

Imphal, September 13 2021:
Lamlai Mapari Thougal Lup, in a meeting held at the residence of social activist Sapam Kangleipal at Nongada on Monday, added 157 new executive members and resolved to support Kangleipal in the forthcoming state assembly election.
In a statement, the organisation informed that the meeting co-chaired by Telou Chana Seijang GP up-pradhan'Thokchom Ranel, Non-gren Chingnungkok GP up-pradhan Angom Imo, social activists Laish-ram Raghumani & Nanda Kamei, and leaders of Mapari Thougal Lup agreed to increase the number of active members to 1125.Later, all the executive members of the Lup went to Chingoi Iruppa Iren at the foothill of Nongmaijing hills and pledged to support Sapam Kangleipal in the upcoming 2022 assembly election.
On the occasion, Kangleipal said that he is seeing a change in the mindsets of the people of Lamlai AC and added that nobody can defeat the new public movement.
Social activist Laishram Raghumani spoke on 'Why do we need a political change in Lamlai and the responsibility of youth in such change'.
The meeting also discussed the activities taken up by Lamlai Mapari Thougal Lup within a short span of time since its inception, the statement added.
